We are very excited to announce that applications are open for the Filecoin Faber Accelerator.

The Filecoin Faber Accelerator was born out of a partnership between Faber and Protocol Labs to help foster the development of the next generation of the internet. The partnership combines Faber’s experience as early-stage deep tech VC and Protocol Labs’ Web3 expertise to help entrepreneurs create the building blocks of successful new companies in the decentralized web.

Based out of Portugal — a fast-growing hub of Web3 talent — Faber will leverage its experience as an early backer of AI/data-driven founders to work with Protocol Labs in helping form, fund, and accelerate teams of entrepreneurs working on hard engineering problems to build new protocols, tools, infrastructure services, or applications driving Web3 use cases.

The accelerator is fully remote and will run for 12 weeks, from April 26th to July 13th, providing a select batch of teams access to a world-class program with workshops, peer mentoring, expert advising, access to investment, and continuous support well beyond the end of the program.

The program aims to help early-stage teams create and develop their businesses, with technical, financial, and operational support from Faber and Protocol Labs together with top experts in areas such as community building, token economics, marketing, recruitment, legal, product, or company formation. Each selected team will also receive at least €80,000 of investment directly from Faber and Protocol Labs, and during the program, they will have multiple opportunities to pitch to and get mentorship from the leading VCs in the Web3 space.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our outstanding group of mentors. We feel privileged to have the likes of Adam Fuller from The Graph, Jacek Czarnecki from MakerDAO, Diogo Mónica from Anchorage, David Dias and ZX from Protocol Labs, Mitchell Amador from Immunefi, Lara Olms from Actus ag, André Pimenta from Metamask, Henrique Moniz from Dune Analytics, Danilo Lessa Bernardineli from BlockScience, Filipe Almeida from Snap, Luis Shemtov from Lunar Ventures, Jakub Fijotek from Coinfirm, Thomas Fuerstner from Riddle&Code, Tiago Martins from Polkastarter, Pablo Coirolo from Light47, Dominik Tobschall from Speedinvest, Charlie Boles and Bogdan Habic from Tenderly volunteering their time and invaluable experience to give back to the community.

Applications are open until the 18th of April so apply now. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us by email or join our Discord server.
